My ten  –  I may not always honor my gratitude out loud, but they are always whispered under my breath, close to my heart, and always there on the days that may be scary and uncertain. Thank you for inviting me to this beautiful milestone.

My writing nook is cleaned, somewhat organized; it’s dusted and all the piles are neatly placed where they belong. The window is open blowing a soft breeze; it is quiet outside with an occasional car passing by and the birds chirping about something …

I woke up this morning very early, my usual five in the morning.
 
It went like this “oh what’s today? Its Sunday thank goodness no work today yay …oh and tomorrow is Monday…wait yes I have tomorrow off too – yay its Memorial Day! Thank you, thank you!”

Well I promised myself that when the messes are felt, and I am sensitive and feeling raw that I will proceed with kindness, and compassion.

My kids made me a delicious brunch of pancakes, orange juice, and coffee.
